Learners will compare and order objects directly and indirectly by length, height, width, and distance using reference objects and precise comparative vocabulary.

Learners will measure lengths by iterating non-standard units end-to-end and understand the inverse relationship between unit size and count.

Learners will measure, estimate, and compare linear lengths of objects and line segments using standard metric units (centimeters and meters).

Learners will compare, estimate, and measure mass using direct hefting, pan balance scales, informal units, and standard metric units (grams and kilograms).

Learners will compare, estimate, and measure liquid capacity and volume using direct pouring, informal containers, and liters.

Learners will read, write, and represent time to the hour and half-hour on analog and digital clocks, and sequence daily schedule events.

Learners will read and locate dates on calendars, sequence days, months, and seasons, and compare event durations in standard units of time.
