Higher and Lower
A Vertical Comparison describes where an object sits in upright space relative to a reference point. 'Above' indicates a higher position, while 'below' indicates a lower position.
This concept is known as Positional Relationality. Being 'above' or 'below' is not a fixed property of an object itself, but describes its position relative to something else.
Relational Symmetry
These positions share an Inverse Relationship known as Relational Symmetry.
If object A is positioned above object B, then object B must be positioned below object A.
