- OGM.4.NBT.1Read, write, count (forward and backward in steps of 1, 2, 4, 8, 10, 50, 100), compose, decompose, and represent whole numbers up to 100,000 using standard, word, and expanded notation; explain the base-10 positional value of each digit across units, tens, hundreds, thousands, and ten thousands.
- OGM.4.NBT.2Compare and order multi-digit whole numbers up to 100,000 using comparison symbols (>, <, =) and positional language; determine numbers that are 10 or 100 more or less than a given quantity; interpret comparative relational phrases.
- OGM.4.NBT.3Round whole numbers to the nearest 10, 100, 1,000, or 10,000 using number lines and place-value reasoning; employ compatible numbers and rounding to estimate quantities, assess the reasonableness of calculations, and evaluate everyday scenarios.
- OGM.4.NBT.4Fluently add and subtract whole numbers up to three digits (and solve problems within 1,000) using place-value partitioning, mental strategies (adding/subtracting ones, tens, hundreds), standard columnar algorithms with regrouping, and inverse operations to check accuracy.
- OGM.4.NBT.5Multiply one-digit whole numbers by multiples of 10 in the range 10–90 and multiply two-digit numbers by a one-digit number using mental math, place-value strategies, partial products, and formal written methods.
