According to Guerriero (n.d.), effective classroom management and organization are based on cross-curricular principles and strategies. In order to achieve this, models of general pedagogical knowledge have been developed which recognize that learning occurs in a social context and that student success is dependent on their cognitive and affective characteristics. These models typically incorporate several pedagogical components, such as knowledge of classroom management, teaching methods, learning environments, assessment, as well as lesson planning and adapting to student diversity. Additionally, psychological components such as understanding learning processes and individual student characteristics are also emphasized. In summary, it is important for teachers to possess a comprehensive understanding of both pedagogical and psychological principles in order to effectively manage and organize their classroom, create optimal learning environments, and cater to each individual student's needs.
