When you finish an awesome drawing, what is the first thing you want to do? You want to hold it up and tell someone all about it!
How can you tell the full story of your artwork so everyone understands it?

What makes each of these clues so special? Let's look at the first clue!
1. What Is Your Idea?
Your idea is the story or subject in your picture. It tells your listener what you made and what inspired you to create it.

Once you explain your big idea, how do you explain how you made it?
2. What Were Your Choices?
Your choices are the colors, lines, and materials you picked on purpose. Artists make choices for special reasons, like using dark blue to show a deep ocean or bumpy torn paper for tree bark.
