Be careful: words that start with the same letter, like **cat** and **car**, do not rhyme because their endings sound totally different.

So how do we take rhyming words and turn them into whole new lines of poetry?

To add a new line to a poem, first find the **target word** at the end of the first line.

Next, brainstorm words that rhyme with your target, and build a fun sentence around one of them.
